Here’s another set of ‘how to’ pics again leading on from the pics so Hair Obsessed kindly published. This time I’ve headed to the 1950s for the classic & much loved by my customers style, the poodle. Made popular by stars such as Lucille Ball, this style looks great under a hat or with a few hair flowers or knotted headscarf.

To create this style I recommend you have the following:

Hair pins – match these to your hair colour.

Hairspray – to use at the end when styles as you like it.

Rat tail comb – perfect for making neat sections.

Rounded brush – great for moulding the style while keeping curls intact.

Curling tongs – these are great for creating quick curls and give you a great starting point for your style without having to do a wet set.

Plus don’t forget to add accessories, hair flowers or even brooches, clips, combs and ribbons can be a great addition to this style. If you do have a go at this style feel free to post you pics on my facebook page here, it’s always great to see how people are getting on.
