I’ll be holding my Vintage Hairstyling Masterclass on Saturday November 22nd and each session will be made up of a styling demonstration followed by a practical session where you can put your newly learnt skills to the test on your own hair. Participants will also received a goodie bag from Claireabella’s Closet and a beautiful portrait of their final style from vintage photographer Jez Brown to show case their work.
Session 1: The Basics
Great for absolute beginners and those who wish to build on their styling knowledge, this class will cover the basics needed for creating a vintage hairdo. Starting with creating the perfect vintage curl with a basic set and how to do victory rolls. I will also take you through the equipment needed for styling and share lots of my personal styling tips and tricks.
Session 2: Updos and Advanced Styling
This class moves on from the morning session allowing you to use the skills you will have already learnt. It is also perfect for those with some styling experience who are looking to take their skills to the next level. This class will cover advance styles like the poodle updo, creating the perfect rolled fringe (betty bangs) and a Christmas party updo.
The lovely Eva Dane will be my hair model for the classes, the below image of her was taken by Jez Brown Photography.
