I styled Caroline’s hair for her wedding to Neil in June of last year. Caroline was already running the successful ‘Carrie’s Handmade and Vintage Fairs’ in Bedford where I’m based, so our paths had crossed many times before and it was really lovely to be chosen by her to create this important hairstyle!
Caroline wore a stunning modern dress and wanted vintage touches to complete her look. She had already added a beautiful lace bolero and had also given the dress a personal touch by handmaking stunning vintage style shoe-clips, something she’ll be offering on her new BBB website. We decided on a chic vintage updo at the hair trial so I created something with a sleek, soft, romantic feel. The beatiful pictures of Caroline and Neil’s wedding were taken by Victoria Mitchell Photography.
More recently we have teamed up again on another bridal project. Caroline has now set up a beautiful, vintage inspired bridal jewellery business offering bespoke handmade creations and one-off vintage pieces under the name Bobby Beatrix Bridal. You can find them on Facebook here. I’ll be blogging pictures from our collaborative vintage bridal shoot at a later date.
